Buying fish that are shipped to you, especially for the first time, can be scary. Will you get what you paid for or be ripped off? What if the fish arrives sick or dead? Will the vendor stand behind their product?
In this video I share with you some (not all) of the vendors that I have directly dealt with that have delivered and if something was not right made sure to fix it right away.
This is by no means the only great vendors out there. I’m sure that there are many. These are just ones that I’ve dealt with directly and can speak with you from first hand experience.
Do you have a vendor that you have done several transactions with and they’ve always either met or exceeded expectations? I’d like to hear about it in the comments below.

Did you know that there’s a friendly and helpful fish keeping group on Facebook called: “Ben O’Cichlid”? Cichlid is in the name but all fish keepers are welcome! If you’re on FB, check it out. If you would like to join please be sure to answer all the join-in questions so that the admins approve your request (it’s how we keep the trolls out and keep it a “troll-free” zone!).
Stop by if you can on most Saturdays for the “Cichlids & Coffee” live stream. Great topics, great people and your questions get answered LIVE! It’s usually at 10am Pacific time.
Watch the stream while drinking out of a Ben O’Cichlid coffee mug or wearing a channel hoodie or tee. Visit my store here: https://teespring.com/stores/ben-ocharts-store
and be sure to use the code “LIVESTREAM” for a 10% discount at check-out.
Take a picture of yourself wearing a tee, hoodie or drinking out of a channel coffee mug in front of your tank and send it to: email@example.com and I just might show it in a Saturday live stream!
Shout-outs to Christopher Martin for the Cichlids & Coffee logo, to Sam Penny for the Youtube channel banner art and to Phil Griffiths for the dropping fish video and channel icon!
